I hate going through all the "junky" junk mail that comes in our mail box daily...but I do like when the $10.00 Kohl's Cash Card comes paying a visit to my mail box! So cash card in hand, having the day off from work along with a little bit of luck and hope on my side were all the ingredients I needed for a nice enjoyable afternoon of browsing. Heading towards the 80% rack I spot a pair of jeans in my size. And here is the interesting part...they look like someone took a knife and dragged it down the front and then spilled a little bit of paint on the jeans...my question being...is this fashion? Is this what I really want to wear (at my age)? And do people pay for holes in jeans and paint spots? Well the answer being...YES, this is really fashionable, high couture (I think) and YES, I think it's really cool to dress about 30 years younger than I am (my daughter would be so proud of me) and heck YES I'll pay for it (maybe I'm a slave to fashion).
Now the jeans were marked retail at $48.00, less 80% brought them down to $9.60 and with the $10.00 Kohl's Cash Card well they were basically FREE. If holey jeans can make me look hip and a little drizzle of paint makes me look "in style"and it's a freebie then I will rock it out like a "Tiffany Hippie"!!!
